Hmmm, It's still not working for me. I've got several study helps I'd like to upload, including seven practice examinations I've developed for my team. If I were bright enough to figure this out, perhaps I could be of use to the rest of you. [[User:78.26|78.26]] 00:52, 3 February 2011 (EST) | Hmmm, It's still not working for me. + | Once again there was some problem between the final 'f' of .pdf and the vertical bar, or the vertical bar itself. When I hover a link that's broken, I see that the link ends with .pdf%E2%80%8E . Going from memory, I think those three characters (E2, 80 and 8E) are all above the basic 127 ASCII character set, and they may all be invisible or zero-width. I don't understand how they get embedded. | ||

I'm trying to make files, and upload PDFs, but it isn't working. I've uploaded a couple of pdf documents, but somehow the wikilinks to said files aren't working. Help, anyone? 78.26 23:39, 28 January 2011 (EST)
I think I've just solved it for you. The problem was that the vertical bar or pipe character, |, used to separate the filename and the descriptive text, was something the wrong character. When I replaced that one character, the download link immediately started working. WikiSysop 17:27, 30 January 2011 (EST)
